SAVANNAH COBBS (SHE/HER)

DCALF FELLOW AND ASSOCIATE

Savannah Cobbs joined DC Affordable Law Firm as a member of the class of 2026-2027 Signature LL.M. Fellowship Program. She is excited to join DCALF for the opportunity to provide meaningful legal services to DC residents while gaining hands-on experience as a new attorney through intensive training, mentorship, and direct client representation.

Savannah graduated magna cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law in 2026. During law school, she served as a student attorney in the Whistleblower Protection Clinic and Community Development Law Clinic, where she gained experience advocating for clients in matters involving whistleblower protections, employment, affordable housing, and real estate. She also served as a law clerk with the Service Employees International Union, where she worked on labor and employment matters, and at Gilbert Employment Law, where she gained experience in employment litigation and client advocacy. These experiences shaped her commitment to public interest law and strengthened her passion for using legal advocacy to expand access to justice and protect the rights of individuals and communities.

Before law school, Savannah attended San José State University, where she graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Justice Studies and a minor in Human Rights. Her academic and professional experiences have provided a strong foundation for advocacy and inspired her to pursue a career focused on helping individuals and communities navigate the legal system.
