José Chiquito joined DC Affordable Law Firm in May 2026. As the oldest son in a mixed-status family, he is committed to expanding access to legal representation for immigrant communities.

José graduated with honors from Claremont McKenna College in 2024, earning a B.A. in International Relations. During his undergraduate studies, he interned at an immigration law firm in Minnesota—an experience that sparked his interest in working in legal advocacy.

Prior to joining DCALF, José worked at Sin Fronteras, a Mexico City-based organization providing free legal assistance to migrants and refugees. In this role, he supported migrants as they navigated the Mexican naturalization process. Complementing his professional experience, he also completed a postgraduate certificate in International Migration from El Colegio de La Frontera Norte.

José is excited to use his background in immigration advocacy to support daily office operations at DCALF.
