Dennis Trujillo began his role as an Estate Planning & Probate Staff Attorney after participating in DCALF’s Signature LL.M Fellowship Program where he represented clients in both family law and probate/estate planning matters. During his fellowship experience, he developed passion for helping clients understand the importance of planning for death and incapacity.
He graduated cum laude from the University of the District of Columbia School of Law. As a Mark Herzog Public Interest Scholar, Dennis has consistently demonstrated a commitment to public service and a passion for advocating for justice.
Before joining DCALF, he was a student attorney in the General Practice Clinic, focusing his work on helping survivors of intimate partner violence (IPV) and navigating custody issues. He also took part in the Community Development Law Clinic, where he provided legal assistance to housing cooperatives and nonprofits in Washington, D.C.
Before pursuing his law degree, Dennis graduated from Virginia Tech in 2020 with a double major in International Relations and Spanish, showcasing his dedication to understanding global issues and diverse perspectives.
Dennis earned his LL.M. degree from Georgetown University Law Center, further advancing his legal expertise and commitment to making a positive impact in the field of law.
